Scott Palmer is an experienced litigator with a broad and active practice. He has tried jury and bench trials and arbitrations. He has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients when representing plaintiffs and has won a complete defense verdict, award or judgment in every defense case tried to conclusion.
Mr. Palmer has received Martindale Hubbell's AV Preeminent rating, a testament to the fact that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence. He is also a Southern California Super Lawyer.
Mr. Palmer is an active leader in government and philanthropy. He serves as a Los Angeles County Commissioner on the Quality and Productivity Commission, which oversees the nation's oldest and largest local government innovation fund. He is a former member of the Advisory Committee of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, an independent federal agency. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Museum of the Surface Navy, which operates the Battleship Iowa in the port of Los Angeles.
Prior to founding Palmer Hunter & Hall, Mr. Palmer was a partner in the law firms of Keesal, Young & Logan and Palmer, Lombardi & Donohue. He is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley (B.S.), and the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California (J.D.).
